I have a cold, it's more just irritating then anything else. Just a sore throat and a nose that doesn't know if it wants to be stuffed up or not.



First page of my new sketchbook.



I did this a few weeks ago! I haven't used my Copic markers in over a year, so I'm just trying to get a feel for them. This isn't very good paper to colour on as it bleeds really easily and it's difficult to blend. I originally drew this guy on a sticky note at work that I stuck up on my cube.

Here is something old! I'll post some older pieces.





Mocha was really unhappy! He hated us yesterday, he was shaved and had a bath! He was angry but we gave him extra wet food and treats. So he quickly forgave us. He had fleas and after bathing him and cleaning the entire apartment they came back. We caught it early because he doesn't have any bite marks or anything on him. Robert on the other hand is really allergic to the bites and they swell up and get really red. I haven't been bit at all though, lucky I guess!

We've cleaned the apartment again and hopefully we'll of gotten rid of them this time.

A few recent stressful events, my apartment towed my car because I don't drive it enough. The many joys of owning a vehicle but I'll get over them.

I bought a lot of new CDs this month. Some music from Japan and some of it just rebuying old CDs I use to own years ago but are now lost! :3 I also got myself the new Motorola Droid, it's my first smart phone and my first upgrade from my first cellphone actually. I really like it, it's replaced my iPod.

I don't have anything new to share, I moved into my wonderful apartment in September(bah) and only recently installed my scanner a week ago.

I was going through some old stuff and found this. This is from when I was in college :P

I am restarting my art blog and hopefully I will be much better at keeping this one updated! In any case, I been working on and off on various illustrations. I spent the last week out with friends or found myself too exhausted after work to do any real illustrating. I hope to be back on my feet this week and able to get some work completed.

I don't have any sort of goals or ambitions right now other then to illustrate more and to refine my abilities. I did set a rule for myself with the hopes of having something completed every two weeks. I am thinking of investing in some oil paints and giving oil painting a try or just stick with what I know and do more water colouring. Also try to break into the digital medium. Also trying to focus on new and different areas for me. I also want to invest in a larger scanner because it's only about 8 x 11" in size but I work on paper that is 11 x 14".

I hope now that I can use this blog to document my progression in my art.

Pencil drawing, been working on this on and off for a few weeks now. Some the details and various light shading was washed out when I scanned the image. Since it's not complete I didn't really bother to try and rescan it to get a cleaner image. The image is much larger then my scanner bed so part of it was cut off, to view a more complete version please click the image. Some of the original image was cut off which was mostly his feet.
